This open bangle in an Asian ethnic style features two dragon heads at the ends, facing each other and holding removable beads in their mouths. Given the style, patina, and fine craftsmanship, we estimate this piece to date from the 19th century.

In Asian culture, the dragon symbolizes strength, wisdom, good fortune, and imperial authority. Dragons are also considered protectors and are often associated with water, rain, and fertility.
